Consulting with an Herbalist
Plants are powerful healing allies...gifts from the Earth. Herbalism uses the ancient knowledge of plant constituents and energetics with modern day chemistry, constitutional patterns, and human physiology to address the root cause of illnesses.
Consulting with an herbalist is a wonderfully down-to-earth way to empower one on their healing journey. An experienced herbalist can provide expert guidance and support through assessing underlying health patterns and symptoms...and then choose specific plants and lifestyle practices that can direct one towards a path of greater health and vitality.
My Apothecary
My apothecary has well over 500 herbal preparations in whole plant, root, powder, oil, tincture, and blended form. I create all of the herbal formulas myself from the highest quality herbs available from the most reputable and ethical herbal suppliers. I make custom formulated herbal preparations for my clients as well as offer traditional medicinal herbal tea formulas and tinctures.

All consultations are conducted in-person or via Zoom.

I am an herbalist and member of the American Herbalist Guild, not a licensed medical doctor. I do not diagnose medical conditions nor prescribe remedies claiming to heal those conditions. I value an open and honest dialogue with my clients about their current concerns and health goals and I do my best to help them achieve those goals.

WELLNESS CONSULTATION

An initial consultation is recommended for all new clients and includes a comprehensive look at unique individual health patterns and ideal state. We review your health questions and concerns together, personal health and wellness goals, and perform a thorough review of your body systems, diet, medications, and any supplements you are currently taking. We will also explore any Mind-Body-Spirit concerns related to your wellness goals and how to employ feasible and sustainable improvement options. At the end of the initial consultation, I offer insights into the overall physiological and energetic patterns that need to be addressed and recommendations of herbs and/or supplements that will help bring the body back to a state of optimal harmony. Upon request, I will custom formulate one or more herbal blends to address your specific needs.

FOLLOW-UP CONSULTATION

During the follow-up consultation, we discuss your experience with the herbal support formulas and recommendations previously given. We may decide to modify the formula or amounts as we discuss the next phase of your wellness plan. It is generally recommended that clients have a follow-up consultation at least once within the first 30 days of the initial consultation. Typically, most clients will need to continue with the herbal support recommendations for at least 3-6 months, depending on the nature of the imbalance and how chronic the pattern is.

A mini consultation is good for acute conditions, colds or for specific health and herbal questions. These mini consultations are also available for those wanting detailed information about a specific herb or herbal formula.
